1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of automarketni.co.uk ("Auto Market NI", "the platform", "we", "us"). By using this platform, you agree to these terms. Auto Market NI is operated by Auto Market NI Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland.
2. User Types
Auto Market NI serves three user types: Consumers (buyers and private sellers), Dealers (registered motor traders), and Administrators. Each user type has different permissions, responsibilities, and obligations as outlined in these terms.
3. Listing Rules
All listings must be accurate and truthful. Private sellers are entitled to one free live listing at any time. Dealers must register a dealer account and are subject to dealer terms. Vehicles must be roadworthy and legally sold. Misrepresentation of vehicle condition, history, or specification is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.
4. Dealer Registration
Dealers must complete the dealer verification process before listing vehicles. Verification includes identity confirmation and business address confirmation. Dealers must comply with Consumer Rights Act 2015 and all relevant motor trade legislation. Auto Market NI reserves the right to remove or suspend any dealer account.
5. Lead System & Enquiries
The platform uses structured enquiries to connect buyers with sellers. Phone verification is required before contact details are exchanged. Any abuse of the enquiry system, including spam, false enquiries, or harassment, will result in immediate account suspension.
6. Payments
Dealer subscriptions and listing promotions are processed via Stripe. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Refunds are at the discretion of Auto Market NI and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
7. Prohibited Content
Users may not list: salvage vehicles without clear disclosure, vehicles with outstanding finance without disclosure, vehicles that are not legally owned or able to be sold, or vehicles that do not comply with UK road regulations. Auto Market NI reserves the right to remove any listing at its discretion.
8. Limitation of Liability
Auto Market NI acts as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee the vehicles listed on the platform. All transactions are between buyer and seller. Auto Market NI accepts no liability for any disputes arising from vehicle purchases, sales, or any claims relating to vehicle condition, history, or description.
9. Changes to Terms
Auto Market NI reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
